Dr. Crystal Abitz, PhD, LMT, CSCS —Director of Education
Crystal Abitz (13421 - 146 WI, ) is a licensed massage therapist, former NCAA D1 strength and conditioning coach, international educator and researcher, published author, and highly sought-after keynote inspirational speaker. She holds a PhD in Health Sciences, with an emphasis in Human and Sports Performance. She has a M.A. in Kinesiology- Sport and Exercise Psychology and a B.S. in Elementary Education. Crystal is a subject matter expert of emotion regulation, impression management and self-presentation, and reflective practice.
Crystal has completed over 300 hours of training in traditional Thai massage on a mat, countless hours of training in various orthopedic and clinical sports massage techniques, and many years of study of biomechanics and human movement analysis. She is thrilled to be in this space, offering a variety of continuing education classes related to these particular areas of knowledge. Crystal is a dynamic, influential woman whose positive outlook and zest for life is contagious. She is the mother of 3 young children and the wife of a United States Marine Corps retiree. She brings a wealth of experiences and wisdom to all of her classes and approaches each session as an opportunity for mentoring others.

Maggy Troup, BS, LMT
Maggy Troup, owner of Ascend Massage Studio in Lantana, Texas, is a licensed massage therapist with a degree in Kinesiology. With over 20 years of hands-on practical experience, her passion for anatomy and biomechanics drives her to seek new opportunities to deepen her understanding of how our bodies move, heal, and respond. Maggy specializes in sports massage, medical massage, and orthopedic neuromuscular feedback—all focused on helping people reconnect with their bodies and find relief from chronic pain. She has taught foundational courses for massage therapists, including advanced anatomy, kinesiology, and sports massage. Now, as a nationally certified continuing education providor, Maggy is thrilled to help other massage therapists thrive in their careers by extending her knowledge and experiences into the teaching space. You can find Maggy volunteering with the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), exploring the mountains, or practicing yoga.

Marsha Basta, LMT
Marsha Basta, owner of Saving Grace Massage and Bodywork in Mukwonago, WI, is a licensed massage therapist with over 20 years of hands-on practical experience. She is a passionate healer who guides her clients through a wide range of physical, emotional, and spiritual transitions in the most efficient and transformative way possible. Marsha has taken many, many hours of continuing education to gain advanced knowledge and understanding of a variety of muscle release techniques, craniosacral therapy, and breast massage techniques. She has experience teaching as a TA for Upledger Institute International among other established continuting education institutitions. Further, Marsha is a dedicated advocate for individuals who have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.
Amy Kingsley, CMT
Amy Kingsley, owner of Bamboo Bodyworx in Whichita, KS, is a certified massage therapist with over 15 years experience as a medical massage therapist. She has a degree in Opera from Wichita State University and definitely brings her performance energy to the teaching space. She and her husband, Ryan, work together to make their bamboo tools. Amy is passionate about bringing the natural elements of heat and wood to her clients. She wants her students to become knowledgable in the safety, sanitization, and appropriate techniques while using their custom-designed heated bamboo tools within the massage therapy space.
