Minimums

We reserve the right to cancel the class up to 2 weeks in advance of the class if we do not meet our minimum number of students. Students already enrolled will be notified via email and/or by the phone number provided at registration. We accept no responsibility for the costs associated with a class cancellation. Pricing

Advertised pricing is subject to change. Live class size is limited and may fill up. Please register as soon as you can to guarantee a spot. All courses, whether live or virtual, require payment in full to reserve your space.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Legacy Wellness Institute reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment. In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified of the cancellation by phone, e-mail, or mail 14 days prior to the scheduled class date and a full refund will be issued within 30 days. If it is necessary for LWI to cancel a class, the student may choose to receive a refund or a class credit for the amount of tuition paid.

*Online Courses, Digital Resources, and Webinars are non-refundable— all sales final for anything that is not in-person.*

If a student needs to cancel registration for in-person classes: Contact LWI via email (legacywellness.institute@gmail.com) or phone call (920-427-5025). Only email or phone requests received at least 21 days prior to class date will be considered. Cancellation less than 21 days prior to class date – no refund will be given, only possible credit toward a future class. Request for cancellation over 21 days prior to class: You can cancel your attendance and request a refund up to 3 weeks before class. You will receive a full refund minus a $55 administration and processing fee. Request for cancellation 14 days or less prior to class: You will receive no refund or credit towards a future class. Credit must be used within 12 months of original registration and payment date.

Class No-Show

If you do not show up to class, you will not receive a refund.

Bad Weather Policy

If Legacy Wellness Institute cancels or reschedules because of bad weather/roads, you will receive a full refund, less a $55 administration and processing fee. If we hold the class on the scheduled dates and you do not attend because of weather/roads, you will receive a full refund minus a $55 administration and processing fee.

Class Locations

From time to time it is necessary to change a class location. Should this occur, we will provide you with as much advance notice as possible. We accept no responsibility for costs associated with the location change.

Credentials

Legacy Wellness Institute is an education company that provides continuing education services primarily, but not limited to massage therapists located in the United States. Most of the classes offered are approved by the NCBTMB for national hours. Each state's board has its own requirements. It is the student's responsibility to be aware of and follow the rules of their governing board. Student Records

At Legacy Wellness Institute, we are committed to maintaining high standards in record-keeping and certification for our students. Upon successful completion of each class, students receive a certificate of completion, provided as a PDF or printed document at the discretion of the instructor.

Please note:

  • Record-Keeping: It is the student's responsibility to maintain their records, including certificates of completion.

  • Certificate Replacement: If an electronic certificate is misplaced, a new copy will be issued within fourteen business days upon request. Last-minute replacement requests (such as those made close to renewal deadlines) cannot be guaranteed.

  • Compliance with Licensing Boards: Students are responsible for uploading their files in compliance with their respective massage therapy board requirements. LWI does not offer graphic design services, and any file size adjustments or formatting must be done by the student.

Intellectual Property

The Legacy Wellness Institute authors have made an effort to ensure the information in our classes and teaching materials are accurate. The author(s) will not be held liable for any damages due to the instruction or information contained within. Please note that our materials may be for your personal learning use only and may not be distributed, shared, copied, edited, sold or reused in any other way. This includes handouts (print or electronic), PDFs, videos or other material provided in training. With your completion of all certification requirements you may use the name of the certification in your practice and advertise yourself as certified and such. However you may not otherwise make commercial use of the trademark names of any classes, such as using a course title in the name of your business.

You must abide by all city, state or Province laws that govern you right to practice hands-on massage for Bodywork therapy. You must work within the scope of your practice. The techniques that you are learning and materials that you were given may be used in your practice as authorized by Legacy Wellness Institute. However, you acknowledge that such techniques and materials are the copyright property of Legacy Wellness Institute absent special written authorization by a certified instructor of Legacy Wellness Institute you are forbidden from incorporating such techniques and materials into a continuing education or other such programs.

Students may inquire to receive written permission to use and teach the methods of each Legacy Wellness Institute course.
